One day, one event, one collective image. Almost ten years after the collapse of the twin towers, and there’s still no other event in our recent history so intricately linked with a day in the modern calendar. This book shows other images taken that day. Pictures and memories that even the photographers themselves may have forgotten.Flickr allows users to search for time stamps (EXIF Tags) from digital cameras. There are numerous images that coincide with the events, in New York and beyond. I collected all that I could find, printed each one on a postcard with its corresponding description, and bound them as a book of postcards. Due to the fact that Flickr launched in February 2004, the mass of images was manageable.
